Committed

A two fold thing

I am committed to keeping this love alive. I am committed to staying in love with YOU.

I have never really committed myself to anything and by now, I do not know how. To whom is my first commitment? How am I doing? My house is falling down, so what shall I do? I have got to tighten up.

Loyalty, Duty and Pledge = Character, Discipline and Commitment, sounds like the military, hum? But does it work?

What do I know about them? I am committed to keeping this love alive. Here's where we often get the cart before the horse. We go into situations before we ever have a good understanding of what we are supposed to do in them or if we can do it? We talk about problems, but we never talk about solutions and strategies. We can plan a wedding, but we do not plan our lives. We do things half-heartedly. We take too much for granted.

Commitment implies some form of relationship with yourself and with what you want to do. The most important single factor in individual success is COMMITMENT. Commitment ignites action. Imperfect Action is better than No Action!

To commit is to pledge yourself to a certain purpose or cause. Commitment brings on responsibility, organization and understanding. How will others learn and understand?

Some say commitment depends on what kind of relationship you are in, but I say, no matter what kind of relationship you are in, it doesn't change the problems you're facing. "Do your very best". Don't go into anything half-heartedly. What happens when you fall short? Who's to blame? Stay committed in your decisions, but flexible in your approach. The quality of a person’s life is a direct result of their commitment to excellence. When work, commitment and pleasure becomes one, that’s passion and in your passion show compassion. So there's plenty good stuff to chat about prior to entering in situations and relationships with others.

He who invokes a blessing on himself shall do so by saying, “May the God of Truth...Bless me”.

"Your hearts must be fully committed", that's what made me turn my life around? My heart's on the line
