Dishwashing Liquid and Laundry Soap Recipe

I take my homemade lye soap, put pieces of it in a glass jar and cover with water. Let stand and my homemade soap will dissolve. Increase of decrease water depending on how thick you desire your liquid. You can take it from a thin liquid to a very thick gel.

The key is do not be affraid to safely experiment.

Adding Borax and baking soda? Add as much of these ingredients as you like to your water before you add the water to your soap. A little heat will help them dissolve faster, before adding. You can add them to your soap or directly to the cleaning job.
