BEAUTIFUL DUST
Among many others that are striving in society to make wrong things right, to find blessings in disguise, those that prefer to use their heavenly talents, there are still individuals with said qualities whom is willing go the extra mile of caring, sharing and reaching back to bring others Exodus from the dormant of darkness.
While it is not only rare, it is well as acceptable and warranted without approval of another to have the ability to exhibit mere gestures to find joy in the mist of trials; prove to yourself you "can", when the world say "naught"; dance in the rain, in spite of his or her pre-planned parade; be an individual and master of self.
There, to comes a time for reflecting on one whom may have entered your life for a moment. I once heard someone say, "Friends are just Angels among us". While that statement may be common for one's mind, it is found, sound and without falsehood. Far too often we shake the dust from our feet without looking at the grains from which it came.
I once met a simple and humble stranger that I will always consider a friend. Although we would argue points and display our individuality, we somehow always ended up on the same side of the battle line, cheering each other on. It is a friendship that was built with a foundation of unconditional love, no certain terms, and without selfish boundaries.
From fishing, to cooking; from planting, picking and peeling, to preserving and canning; from working on projects, to growing our dreams; from sharing a glass of wine, to a night ending with a midnight stroll; from visiting slave graves, to visiting grounds that they may have once roamed; from introduction of family members, to networking, from sharing, to becoming part of each other's circle; from listening to childhood stories, to understanding each other's journey; from the "Bleeding Heart", to his beautiful garden, I tracked his grains of sand.
To wit, should your path ever cross a stranger's path, hesitate not to walk away with grains of their sand to shake away later. Then, you too will know the blessing of "Beautiful Dust".
