commitment...a personal definition by far!

Thoughts are personal, feelings are personal, emotions are personal. Commitment is a personal choice to offer all of your personal self/skill/talent to another/others/situations. The intent is to offer the best of your-self as you have taken time and considered in thought,feeling the emotions that personally inspire your desires, needs and wants to commit into another/others/situations. My commitments to family, friends, career and this life, are all connected by my commitment to be the best possible person that I am able to be at any given moment,especially while I am wiping crap off of my face caused by the condition of being human.

How concrete is commitment? It is as solid as my word. And that comes with addendum. I do not attempt to allow commitment to close me into a box, it shall be open for adjustment, change and the natural flows of life.

Commitment to me at this moment is a honest connection to purpose. The purpose is a journey defined by the desires,the needs and wants that lead to fulfillment of the destination. Which happens to be HAPPY. Realizing and recognizing that relationships do not end...they change. The commitment magnifies the growth. To what direction? Well that depends on what is given towards growth to happy. Communication, honesty,willingness,truthfulness and time.

Do you become stagnant, satisfied, or forever flexible? Do you intentionally learn the mysteries of purposeful relations or do you define them by what is at the moment?

Because of the human condition of brokenness do we forever allow our intent to be purposed by what we think we know because it happened before? If so, why try? We shall remain in the relationship, the career, the family, the self or even the state of mind that is broken.

Or, shall we commit to the journey of desire, need and want to be happy where ever and how ever we are able to?

"Your personal opinion" goes without saying. Of course anything you do is your personal choice.

Further, my point here is to prove your personal opinion, contrary to popular belief, does not matter if it is not acted upon.

I see people with personal opinions which are just the opposite of what their doing, so which of these are their personal opinions? To that, I would like to share this article: Entitled to Your Personal Opinion

You personal definition is the same. Today, we're doing and saying nothing that hasn't been done or said before and we do nothing alone. Everybody pitching in has to be stronger than a personal definition, no matter how elementary it is presented. It is a must, if you want to accomplish "anything".

I agree with most stated in this article but like to add, “kicking it to the next level”. Commitment has to be more than a personal definition, opinion or such, a notion which leads people to believe they have a choice about what, how much, when… they give. But like it or not, you get what you give, where is the choice in that? A choice to give less is a choice to receive less, where is the choice in that? A choice to live in chaos and confusion is a choice to perish, where is the choice in that?

Commitment is a universal effort, law, state of being, a responsibility to self and a must, which is a contribution to the greater good. Commitment is what transforms a promise into reality. It is the words that speak boldly of your intentions and the actions which speak louder than words. It is the daily triumph of integrity over skepticism. Commitments are neither long, short or complicated because we do not even know if we will be here tomorrow.
The simplest definition I can think of is: Commitment is “everybody pitching in, in the moment”
