Contempt / Misogyny Against Women

Loved your piece on contempt Art. Wish the word could get out to mens organizations and become a topic for discussions. I dont think most men know it, how it works, and so many men are still quilty of this. Here are some questions a man should be asked:


1. Do you feel a woman has as much value as a man?

2. When your woman talks to you about issues that concern her or the relationship do you think its nagging?
3. Do you think its a woman's job to take care of all the housework if you are paying all the bills?

4.Can you be a friend to a woman you are not sexing?

5. Do you feel more comfortable hanging out with the guys than hanging out with your woman doing things like grocery shopping?

6. Do you feel like a woman should not take part in a conversation that you are having with another man?

7. Do you believe in a Father/Mother God? or that a woman also has a place in divinity?

8. Do you think you should not tell a woman nothin, or that some things are just not her business although she is your mate?

9. Do you believe that if you tell a woman the truth she will use it against you?


Most men today do not believe they are chavanistic in there relationships, they think they believe in equality, but far from it.

Bless you Art and I hope you will touch the hearts of other men when you hear them speak about women as if they were of a different species and should be treated differently because they are women. I would like to hear your story since you grew up in the South. I am sure there are many instances where you have seen or known of women being manipulated or used because its a woman and thats just how a man should do a woman. LOL
