Love, Feelings, and Respect

It hurts to care for someone that has standards so high they can never be met. Someone that has no respect for American women. No matter what you do, it's never good enough. Can't compare with European women. Can't compare with a real chef. Can't compare with Mom. Don't waste my gas. You left the water running. Don't eat it all! That's too big a bite! Get out of my way. F**K you.

We all have hopes of being happy, being with that special someone, working and playing side by side, talking, laughing, loving, sharing.

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect. It just means we decide to see beyond the imperfections.

...Honor and respect other's feelings as if they are your own.

Feelings are as normal as hunger and fatigue. When we dismiss, diminish, ridicule, criticize, mock, belittle, disparage or demean anyone's feelings we are acting in the most disrespectful and unloving way.

Boy, that's a bunch of stuff, lol or would you say concerns, most of which seem to do with someone else and their standards? It's kind of hard to tell other people what to do or what kind of standards they should hold, but when they are using your stuff, you do have a reason to voice your concern, just like this website...Art

Wow! what response that good thing to get your expression out there, vibrating with process of learning to love, feeling and respect are very important at least to me, I know loving oneself helps it to flow over to others, no matter what their opinion is about, I can't judged another on their process of loving them self, I can only speak for myself, yet I know that esxpression are wonderful, it hyelps to release in process of life...Love and peace be with you and feeling are depth of oneself and in any relationship respect is upmost important least me, now if anyway I have disrespect anyone love or feeling I asked for giveness causes I believe I meaning of such on personal level.

Nope she does not get it - and that's the bottom line. What? Just look how those comments were written? lol Why would you come to this forum and make such comments--Love, Feelings, and Respect--and write about dirty laundry? What would be your point, to whom? why? What could they do?

I have had people of all races, from the world over visit me, but this is a first. It does not matter who or where you are. Once you air something like that, it is hard to take back the fact that you are talking about yourself. Like shooting yourself in the foot to get back at someone else and then saying you understand, you wish you had not because it hurts like hell.

Any how, we are all mature adults here and I am being as nice and professional as I can in addressing this. Probably should have deleted it, but where is the lesson learned?

If you are a guest in anyone's home and all those things come up, you should know the standards of living are very different and if you are not willing to help, then save yourself the heartache by leaving,,,Things are only going to get worse.

People are not stupid, they know when you are doing things to compliment their style of living or ignoring it. Like the comments, they know when you are trying to help or hurt. People can feel and sense when their guest is trying to be helpful. Who would want to be picked up after and especially coming from what is supposed to be a nice lady, again just like the comments.

Most people, especially in their 50's know this and these little squirks would never be a problem because they are mature and responsible, knowing someone is going to clean behind their asses. what do you do when your guest departs? If I liked where I was and wanted to go back again, then I would offer to do whatever it took to lighten that burden. I would be humble and thoughtful enough to ask, to offer just to make sure.

If you were invited to spend the weekend at a friend's house, would you just leave and not offer to clean up? Would you tell them you don't have time or some other excuse?

Return visits, would that make any difference or do you think because you had such a good time, that exempts you? Would you act ignorant and give the impression you did not know? What about, You are the queen, let the maids do it? Then, there is always, I do not give a damn. What kind of message would you send?

When I am a guest, I make sure I leave things better than I found them. I would at least offer to strip the beds, because I want no excuse for not having a clean bed the next time...lol
Especially, if i were talking about some place where I had Love, Feelings, and Respect. Call it how to say goodbye and I would like to come back.

if you respect yourself then respecting others follows naturally, it does not matter if you are European, American or Outer Mongolian, its the same the world over. Be true unto yourself, if you don't like other peoples "warts" look at your own first and see how you can improve them.
