Marijuana---Plant or Drug??

I am a Christian, yet I find pleasure in smoking Marijuana. It relaxes me, aids in relieving the stress of my hectic life, and also helps alot with my arthritis. I know that Marijuana is illegal, so would smoking marijuana be considered a sin? What is your opinion on the drug?

Marijuana is a natural herb, a gift from God, not man. It has many benefical purposes. It is a sustainable resource. It can be used for clothing, paper, the seeds and oil are benefical for ones health internally and externally. It takes many many years for a tree to grow to harvest it for paper. A crop of hemp can be grown in one season. It has know benefits for many many health ailments. It is a known fact that marijuana is not physically addicting. The most harm that comes from smoking pot in my opinion is getting caught with it by the law. I do not believe companies you work for have the right to test you for marijuana,prescription drugs or alcohol yes when on the job.
I know that what I do in my own time is my business. Smoking pot for me helps me to be creative, it inspires me to think out of the box. It allows me to not sweat the small stuff and to see that there are more sides than what is being presented. I have smoked pot since I have been 14 years old and I am pushing 55 at this time. Many of those that know me have no idea I am stoned when I am around them and quess what? They love me. Unfortunately if they knew I smoke pot they would feel differently about me. Sad, even some of my best friends have no idea and are often telling me how bad they think it is.

Boy,,,of all the people you would ask that question,,,lol,,,lol. Long story short, I agree with you. Here we go!

Honesty is the best policy and to get that, we must be open enough, there must be enough flexibility in our laws, that people will feel free to come forth with whatever problems they are experiencing, before or afterwards. Being a hypocrit will not get it.

No, I do not think smoking marijuana is a sin, not IAW my religion anyway.

Yes, marijuana is illegal in America, according to man's law and I respect that. However, it is quickly being legalized in many states.

The smoking of marijuana is a decision one must make for themselves. The abuse of any substance is a sin.

Do I think smoking marijuana is okay? Well the answer is still the same, that depends on the person and if smoking marijuana is legal. I would not encourage anyone to take any product or substance, that is unsolicited. One of the biggest problems with marijuana smoking is that some people encourage/push others to do it. They call themselves turning the person on. I ask why and I think that is a form of abuse?

Do I think the smoking of marijuana should be legal? I think the smoking of marijuana should be legalized.

That brings the problem of children. Just as with anything else, adults/parents must be responsible...
