THE SABBATH

I WAS AT THE GAS STATION, AND I SPOKE TO A WOMAN, AND SHE SPOKE BACK. I ASKED HER IF SHE WAS COMING FROM CHURCH. SHE AFFIRMED AND ALSO INVITED ME TO COME JOIN NEXT WEEK. I SAID SURE, AND MY NEXT STATEMENT WAS THAT I WAS HAVING CAR TROUBLE AND THAT IF POSSIBLE I WOULD GIVE HER GAS MONEY IF SHE COULD COME AND GET ME AND MY FIANCE AND TAKE US.

SHE SAID THAT THE CHURCH HAD BUSES FOR THAT ON THE WEBSITE. MY NEXT QUESTION WAS DID SHE KNOW WHAT THE SABBATH DAY WAS, SHE MISHEARD ME AND ASKED, DID YOU SAY THE SEVENTH DAY, I SAID, "THAT'S NOT WHAT I SAID BUT THE SABBATH DAY IS THE SEVENTH DAY, BUT ACTUALLY I WAS JUST TRYING TO FIND OUT IF SHE KNEW WHAT THE SABBATH DAY WAS, AND SHE SAID NO.

RIGHT AFTER THAT SHE INVITED ME TO HER CHURCH AGAIN AND HURRIED AWAY WITH NO SIGN OF INTEREST. ITS THE FOURTH COMMANDMENT FROM GOD.

EXODUS 20; 8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
