You are creating what you think

Yes it is true what you think is what you are creating.

If your thoughts are filled with despare and no hope it is up to you to change your thoughts. "How can I change my thoughts when I am loosing my home and have no place to go? How can I change my thoughts when I have bills to pay and I can not find a job and have mouths to feed and a roof to put over our heads?"

Let me tell you I know this from experience. I have been pennyless, homeless, jobless,a single mother of 2 boys and not knowing how I would ever turn things around. When I realized how powerful my mind was when I heard the phrase "you are creating what you think" I started to slowly changing my thoughts. I started simple there is no quantum leaaping.

Example: When I had a teenager that did not come home one night I went to the place of fear, what if he was in jail, or had an accident, or ran away or ...... I stopped myself for a moment and said wow that is what my mom used to say if I was late coming home. That in turn made me think, I am going to change that thought.

Worry and fear are useless emotions and they get you no where except bringing more worry and fear. So... I began to think about a rose. In my minds eye I focused on seeing the rose, what color was it? was it opened or was it a bud? did it have thorns or not? I imagined myself smelling the rose, I took a deep breath and began to remember what a rose smelled like, I noticed the color, shape and size.

by the time I was done. All thoughts of fear had left my thoughts, the pit in my stomach felt better and before I knew it the door opened and my son walked in. I don't care what your issue is if you are focused on the worst case senario that is what you will create.

We are all creators it is a choice to be a victim. I also learned that no one can do anything to me unless I allow it. I take control of my life, not others, I allow others to learn and grow from their experiences. Positive thoughts do bring good luck and my motto is Fake it till ya Make it...... Sheila
