The Senate &Congress rejects a Much Needed STIMILUS!!!!

I Feel as though I have been kicked in the stomach. As a disabled citizen; I am appalled at the actions of Congress & The Senate. We as Americans, Senior Citizens, Veterans, and Disabled people, need to see our votes at work; to benefit us.(the Congress & Senate,have no worries when it comes to a stimulus check. We pay their salaries, They draw no Social Security, at retirement they keep the same salary and medical benefits for the rest of their lives) I worked 25 years looking forward to my retirement,(Little did I know it would be early because of health reasons.)I know I contributed to the pot called Social Security) I think each member of congress an the senate should draw from a lottery of people who need that $250;and trade places for a month. Let's see how they would make it on ($852 per month-me). I know that their salary for one month could probably take care of 3 0r more families in my neighborhood. I see no other way around it; I have to decide if I should put gas in my car, eat, pay bills(which are still going up)or better yet purchase the 15 different medications I have to get each month.(I think not having enough resources (money) to pay for my basic needs is one of the reasons I'm sick.
Hey!; there men on the hill, you all still owe me 40 acres an a mule. Land of the free is not all it's cracked up to be. We have needs here, but we reach out to every other country that sneezes hard. What happened to "WE TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN". WAKE UP & REMEMBER YOU ARE EMPLOYED BY THE PEOPLE. IF THE POWERS THAT BE KEEP THIS UP,YOU WON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE: Disabled, Seniors, Vets and more who depend on the goverment for a lil bit of what we gave to our country. Don't blame our President either; most people don't realize that he can only do so much, He inherited a lot of loss luggage when he took office. Here's the Big secret: Congress & Senate members have the power of VETO!!!and they can and do knock down a lot of the promises of change that President Obama, made to us as a people. Take your Blinders off. We have to help to make those changes ourselves and stop looking for someone else to stand up for what's right. It's time to: Stop Throwing Rocks ang Hiding our Hands.
