Highly destructive effects of humans?
Do humans have highly destructive ways? I think not normally but when we stop believing "all hell breaks loose". So how and why did we stop?
Humans and their environment? It used to be that changes to our environment resulted from natural events, however today; humans themselves have evolved to have the greatest influence on environmental changes. The problem with that is the negative suppresses the positive, profits supersede prosperity and quantity supersedes quality, the seven deadly sins and they have made our ways utterly destructive. We are bringing about our own destruction by taking any of them.
If humans have highly destructive ways what does that mean? Human's time on earth may be short, but the affects of their destructive ways last generations. Further, the more we do to profit ourselves the more destruction we cause. Nothing planted, nothing sprouting, no vegetation growing and nothing to do. It will be like the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboyim.
What is required of us? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly in the spirit. So what is wrong with that? What is the real problem? Self-Worth?
