Healing

healing an unusual life cycle

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure

Healing is the natural process by which the body repairs itself. When and where there is damage, then there is a need for Healing.

Healing takes place in many forms: emotional, mental, physical and spiritual...? When either of these states of being are damaged, it takes nurturing and time to properly recover. Today, it seems those are the first two places we cut back, which has brought about a whole new attitude to the healing process--sick today, well today. Next day, you are back with a new ailment and our treatment systems are overwhelmed. Your finger nail hurts, run to the doctor.

There is very little allowance for trusted help within our communities, which would relieve a tremendous burden on our already over burdened systems. What are checks and balances? What is education and providing a stable and creative environment? At one time this system worked well within our communities and with improvements, could work well today until evil doers got involved and made it taboo.

Healing is the natural way in which imbalances are brought back into balance; symptoms of stress and illness are modified. Much of which can be caught early and relieved without leaving our communities.

A community that promotes health and well-being. Healthy food, taking time out to listen, a loving touch, Music, Anger management, travel, gardening, and opportunities to vent...the list is endless of all the healing things we can do in our communities to help heal ourselves.

Healing the maximum amount of people can not take place without the maximum amount of people participating. Who do we ask? How do we get it back? It is a shame that we must now respond this way.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
