Transparency and the lack of privacy

At times I think of my iconic photo and what does it symbolize to you, dead or alive? 

Lately, there has been much talk about transparency and the lack of it, especially in our government. Now, from our political leaders most advocate being transparent, but what were there before? 

How far do we take this thing? Social media, mass media, secret investigations, well isn't it all about the individual? But for some reason we cannot resist the notion of snooping and snitching on each other. Everyone wants to be a step up on the next.
