Living with an Artist Hard

 What is an artist, are artists more talent than anyone else, at their own game?

Living with an artist is it hard, why? Let's make this easy. Can you see the forest for the trees or are you infatuated with what one can do for you? Are you in love with the spirit or are you in love with the person? Do we teach the difference?

I know you’re going to come with lots of reasons that sound good in your mind, but ask yourself: Is this artist a human being? Do they know the difference between work, family and play? Do they want someone to be there for them or do they want someone they can respect? You should love everybody and we’re all artists in a certain regard.

Too often we get too close for the wrong reasons. What exactly is the energy behind the talent?

Some earn much fame and fortune for their talents and many go as unsung heroes. Nonetheless, not one of us is greater than the other.

I say this to the artist because I know the artist in you understand.

The only time to look down on another person is when you’re helping them up.
