Joining

Amazing how some do things, yet not want to be known and others doing everything possible to be known, but ignored.

This very colorful poem was shared with me and I asked to share it with you, hope it means as much to you as it did me... I apologize for the spacing.

 Joining

Sharing, caring, holding hands,

All joining together to expand,

Our love, our consciousness,

The equality and wholeness,

Of the heart and mind,

Join together the colours of skin,

Embrace the love hiding within,

I wish for everyone who is white,

That next time around you are as black as night

We should hang our heads in shame,

Oh! my goodness it is us to blame,

Martin Luther King and many more,

Were brave souls to open the door,

To give equality to their race,

But have WE embraced!

The love, each of us can offer,

NO I can shout!

Without a doubt!

So let's fix it, make a move,

Let us start living in the groove,

To live, to cherish each other,

To find in life our coloured brother.
