Is one more than one and are we missing the true definition of ONE? Just why aren't we some of the happiest people in the world? Why we as united as we claim? Why are we so in violation of our own rules?
There are many poly… to describe various combinations of our group activities. So, why did we come up with this one partner for life idea?
Death, what do you do after one partner dies? How does this prepare you for the inevitable? Why do we act like we will be together forever?
In our monogamous relationships no one is happy; we just act like we are. Then we’re too quick to judge others because they are not in the same dilemma.
Bible, we say the Bible said, but we don’t follow anything else the Bible said and it’s not because we’ve tried, it’s because it does not fit us. Are we meeting God’s standard or are these the standards of a deranged man?
We start our family making decisions out seeking a mate and there are two major factors involved in this quest: the seeking and meeting the expectations of society. In this type of quest it’s dead before it ever gets started. Our society is busy making you happy saying you can marry whoever makes you happy, IAW Biblical principles, but is happiness what society says? What about family, race, gender, political and religious affiliation, age, size… how do we address all these factors to each other? Are we bound by any of them, no matter how they make you happy? Why can’t it be just as acceptable for one human being to marry another?
NO man is an island, why is it one man one woman while we’re desiring same sex? If you remove our definition of marriage from the equation, you can clearly see we need more than one.
Where is the commitment and commitment is what binds us all together, the problem is there’s a bunch of personal shit, too many conditions for our love. You don’t like me because I don’t bow down to you, which is in contradiction to all the laws we’ve created.
