Living Your Dream…Who or What Keeps You From Being Great?

We all would like to reach the point in our lives when we can really say “I AM Living My Dream!” What’s keeping us from getting there? The first thing that comes to mind is do we know our dream(s)? Or, is it, we know our dream but we have allowed ourselves to listen to the opinions of others.
Triple O’s (the opinions of others) have killed a lot of dreams! To avoid this, rid yourself of small minded people who belittle your ambitions. These people can only see what is directly in front of them and have no idea of what it means to “think out of the box”! They’re lives are so routine that you know exactly what they are doing throughout the day. Small minded people are notorious dream busters and they will never understand your drive for greatness.
Unfortunately, we all have a few dream killers in our lives. First you must recognize them for who they are, love them from afar and keep working towards “living your dream”. Remember, you cannot change anyone until they are ready to change themselves.
Surround yourself with people who make you feel great and encourage you to pursue your dream. These people are already “great” because they see the glass half full and not almost empty. The energy generated by positive people is contagious and it is what you need constantly to reach your dream and become great.
Remember – Your dreams are important. Without dreams we spend each moment of our lives just existing. Don’t let anyone scare you out of your dream. So, keep dreaming and working towards “living your dream”.
