“Life is full of beauty…look at me at 72”!!!! Notice it. Do you not notice the bumble bee, the small child, and my smiling face…wearing my different attire…not a costume of “batman” as was written. I smell the rain, and feel the wind. I am living my life to the fullest potential, and fighting for my dreams.
What problems are you solving by saying/writing stupid shit. We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created the problems. “Do something Grandma”!!!
Just remember, no matter how careful you are, there's going to be the sense you missed something, the collapsed feeling under your skin that you didn't experience it all. There's that fallen heart feeling that you rushed right through the moments where you should've been paying attention and doing something other than trying to own what you never will.
Well, get used to that feeling. That's how your whole life will feel some day. This is all practice, life I mean. None of this shit matters. We're just warming up.
Why is it that we try to own everything, even try to own people, your husband/wife, your friends, your family, even try to own relationships with others involved…WTFU.
In this system you will never own shit. For 30 years, we pay mortgage companies and still don’t own the house or property, okay? After you have struggled and paid the mortgage, you still don’t own shit because you have to pay outrageous taxes or lose it.
My system of thinking is: smell the rain, feel the wind and enjoy the home. Question asked…“have you ever seen a U-HAUL truck behind a hearse?”…hell no, and you never will. Whatever you see me with, I am sharing…why? I can’t take it with me and I sure as hell will never own it…so why not share.
I may have offended some women when I wrote the blog about “Women Sharing Men…Are We/You Being Satisfied or Used. Allow me ‘to holler’ at my sisters and brothers that think we/you are not…sharing. Let’s be real…Black men have been practicing Mormonism in relationships since the beginning of time.
Black men have always had more than one woman in a relationship. What make some woman think that it is not happening. WTFU and admit that you don’t have a man all to yourself.
If you could, why all the divorces, why are you still by yourself, huh? Are you one of those women that Millie Jackson sings about. Millie is one of my favorites, because she is real about her singing songs about men/women relationships. She sings for me…‘Just because I am alone, doesn’t mean that I am lonely’, okay?... Anita Baker is another favorite of mine when she sings…‘you’re the wrong man, doing all the right things’.
Have I finished…hell-to-the-no…I’m just getting started. I will be, in the next few blogs,…the wHO, that will express herself so that you will know WTFI’mTA. Tired of my young sisters out there being lied to from the ‘beginning to the end’… Grandma do something!!! Well this Grandma is about to straighten this shit out by telling MY TRUTHS.
To all my colleagues that may happen upon my blogs will know that all my professional degrees have little to do with my common sense and mother wit approach to my sharing. You/They already know that I have been teaching/sharing my knowledge/wisdom since 1988. I am the same ‘ol lady with the same old bag…telling My TRUTHS and talking my SHIT from the WHITE HOUSE to the OUT HOUSE.
