Odd Fellows

Who are they?

friendly societies, there were the Odd Fellows and there was the Independent Order of Odd Fellow (IOOF).

"The Three Link Fraternity", referring to the Order's "Triple Links" logo - three links contain the letters F, L and T, (Friendship, Love and Truth)

·        To improve and elevate the character of mankind by promoting the principles of friendship, love, truth, faith, hope, charity and universal justice.

·        To help make the world a better place to live by aiding each other in times of need and by organizing charitable projects and activities that would benefit the less fortunate, the youth, the elderly, the environment and the community in every way possible.

·        To promote good will and harmony amongst peoples and nations through the principle of universal fraternity, holding the belief that all men and women regardless of race, nationality, religion, social status, gender, rank and station are brothers and sisters

·        To promote a wholesome fraternal experience without violence, vices and discrimination of every form.

A revelation of why my great grandfather did things the way he did and why he taught me the way he taught me.

The command of the IOOF was to "visit the sick, relieve the distressed, bury the dead and educate the orphan”.

This confirms these are the basic thoughts by which we should live and we wouldn’t be in such a mess if we stuck to these principles.

Another lie, they say this started with the British, but the principles were started from the beginning of time. What do you call it when you want everything for self?

That is what the community was all about and now what is a development all about? We've gone from caring about the community to self-serving, gluttony... The seven deadly sins
