The American Flag Folded
12 or 13 times?
- A symbol of life.
- Eternal life.
- Veterans departing our ranks.
- Our weaker nature.
- To our country.
- Where our heart lies.
- To our Armed Forces.
- To the one who entered into the valley of the shadow of death.
- To womanhood.
- To fatherhood.
- The seal of King David and King Solomon, and the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
- An emblem of eternity and God the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit.
The flag, completely folded and tucked, stars facing upward, represent our nation's motto, "In God We Trust".
The appearance is of a cocked hat, reminding us of the soldiers, sailors and marines, serving under General George Washington and Captain John Paul Jones, preserving the rights, privileges, and freedoms we enjoy today.
Honoring our flag and Country.
