Banana Nut Bread3 Ripe bananas 1/2 Cup vegetable oil. 1 Cup brown sugar. 2 Cups self-rising flour. 1 tsp vanilla. 2 Tablespoons cinnamon. 2 Tablespoons allspice. Dash of ginger. Cup of pecans or walnuts. In a mixing bowl, mash bananas and oil. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a loaf pan and bake on 350 for 45 minutes. Test with a tooth pick. When the tooth pick comes out clean your banana nut bread is done.--Catherine Usher Recipe |
