Cheese Grits

Recipe from Olivia's Kitchen

1 ½ c. grits
1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese (grated)
6 c. water
3 t. savory salt
Red hot pepper to taste
3 beaten eggs
1 ½ cubes margarine 2 t. salt
1 t. paprika

Cook grits in water until all is absorbed. Stir in grated cheese, butter and salt. Add beaten eggs. Place in 8 x 12 inch pan or casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees about 40 minutes.

Last 10 minutes of baking, sprinkle top with paprika.

Serves 12
