Energy Bills Are About To Skyrocket

Tis the season to be jolly is also the season for some other things. Have you ever been switched?

Tis the season to be jolly. As the new year comes in, those are the lyrics utility companies are starting to sing as energy prices skyrocket.

During the worse economic times since the great depression, energy prices are about to soar even higher. H1N1 or swine flu, they do not care if you are sick, lame or lazy and there is nothing the people can do about it. We have really got ourselves in a trick, trying to follow progress. It is like slavery and the line of no return.

We have spent billions to fight H1N1, but how much will we spend to help our fellow citizens survive this cold hearted winter? If most working people have already lost their jobs, houses, food, health care, cars …, you would think somebody would come to the rescue. Anybody with family responsibilities knows and clearly understands what we are about to go through.

This time of year, namely utility companies, you would think, while they have an opportunity to help the people, without being forced, would take the initiative.

No and consequently many will suffer and perish. Yes, this year especially, more people than ever before will suffer due to negligence on behalf of stubborn, unforgiving utility companies standing idly by singing tis the season to be jolly.

People are what keep utility companies going, but you would never know it according to how they treat their people. Do they really value people who have been with them a long time. What about for generations? They do not see their own survival depends on the survival of the people. And the pool of people who can afford to pay is steady dwindling. When it comes time for them to be bailed out, on whom will that burden fall? Get ready!

Switched off. They can tell you all about ways to save, yet prices continue to skyrocket. How are they saving?
