Jailed

For putting trash into a dumpster!

I could not believe it either. I thought I was doing a good thing by putting trash into that dumpster.

Boy was I wrong.

I wonder today, where that cop is? It was in Louisville, Ky. He was living, visiting, staying in, I do not know, but he came out of nowhere. I couldn't believe, one man would want to ruin another man's day so much as he would, arrest another for putting a couple small bags of trash into a dumpster, even if it wasn't his. Go figure~ This was in America now. Jailed for putting a couple small bags of trash into 1 of about 10 freshly emptied dumpsters? The officer never offered me the opportunity to retrieve the bags.

Haiti is coming to mind, what they might be going through and their alleged inability to help themselves. This certainly was not their first disaster - Natural nor man-made?

The day before the earthquake disaster, we were at war with Haiti. After the disaster, we can't do enough. Heah, I am all for helping people, but sometimes,....

Haiti is most vulnerable right now. You can tell, the people are in shock, terrified and justifiably so and guess who shows up, offering food? Yesterday and today, how fast the lion could stop attacking his prey. Where are the leaders? The government officials? No order? Not organized relief efforts? Settle down and get organized?

I see rushing to help, but did you hear somebody say, “Just send MONEY, is the best thing to do right now”. Send money and we are going to tell you where to send it? Guess who said that? What are the Haitians going to buy? From whom? Some body needs to be incharge to handle that.

What about hands to help clean? To help do all the chores? What about bringing too much food for yourselves and sharing. Givers must be careful about how they give. Give so everyone can feel HOPE.

Heah, if I could board a plane right now, and go to Haiti, I would? But without equipment, power, knowledge, gas, maintenance or money,,,the best thing for me to do is to PUSH.

Pray for Haiti. Pray for the earthquake victims, not only in Haiti, but the world over. Pray for yourself, just in case. Make a Pledge, that if you could ever help any man, any where; no matter your job title, financial status, power, just as long as they were friendly and willing to do a good thing,,, that you would give them that opportunity. Think about it before it is too late. Hope…Pray that God gives you the ability, like a Doctor, to know the difference and the strength to be able to act in a timely manner. Especially, if he is putting trash in a trash can…

"It is impossible for me to even comprehend the recent attacks on my character and the integrity of my foundation," he said in a statement. "The fact that these attacks come as we are mobilized to meet the greatest human tragedy in the history of Haiti only serves to perplex me even further." - Haitian-born rapper Wyclef Jean
