The Caring Arms
Soul, fret not midst the circumstance
by which you are sourrouned
It matters not, in Christ we're certain,
on our Rock sure-grounded.
The weary one need but reach out--
there find a steady hand,
Though wild the murky waters beat,
The trusting child will stand,
Secure within the Father's love,
and the Savior's keeping power,
Sufficient is His grace supplied
In every trying hour.
God will not sleep nor slumber,
'Tis His promise ever true,
Each day through all life's journey,
He is watching over you.
Assured, then rest, content to follow,
Ask not, "when" nor "where",
Look up and not around, dear one,
You're safe within His care!
