What's wrong with America

ARt

Will America remain the 'last best hope on earth' if we continue to teach our nation's shortcomings?

So many Americans, for one reason or another, have sold themselves and their voice out. Due to fear, they are afraid to stand, speak out and promote their own cause. That's sad, but true. Now, they run around HELPLESS, looking for someone else to do the job for them. How can we have more jobs, without creating them? How can you expect someone else to do that for you?

Many of us are concerned that our systems are failing and there’s good reason to be, but no subject has received less focus on its shortcomings than the area of American history.

Only 20% of fourth-graders, 17% of eighth-graders and 12% of 12th-graders scored "proficient" on the subject, our students are "historically illiterate." If our children are any indication of where the rest of "us" adults stand, we might want to get paddling in a new direction?

We have learned to distrust our own selves, in exchange for following the directions of someone who may or may not have our best interest in mind or heart. Most often it's NOT as today is proof!

There is no "WE The People"! "Officials" continue to allow this deeply-flawed, extremely arbitrary and severely-biased (both economically and racially) system to run rampant without checks, balances or concern for moral decency. It is a dysfunctional destructive force in denial about its own deeply embedded flaws. Justice or "just one more" level of brutality in an already too violent culture. People are hungry for a better system of justice."

Unfortunately, focusing on objective historical facts has been put aside and we are no longer learning about the critical leaders and events that have shaped the United States.

Significant time is spent discussing all the things America has done wrong in our 235 years. As a result, little time is left to teach what we have done right.

It's time for a new national focus Join me here.

The current presentation of our history is one of racism, sexism and imperialism, we seek to help our children and teachers understand who and what have made America the greatest country in the world.

This is an effort to inform and inspire the next generation of Americans so they can become better citizens. Join me here

We realize much in our culture has become politicized to the point of being polarized. It's clear some on the left do not want those with differing views to have a voice in America, and it is well-known most of the educational establishment tilts to the left of our political spectrum.

And that’s what’s wrong with America.
