What are stubborn and rebellious children? Eyes to see, and see not; have ears to hear, and hear not. A child which will not obey the voice of his father nor the voice of his mother.

We must first recognize, then confess, these are our children, stubborn and rebellious, they will not obey; they are a glutton, and a drunkard.

These children will corrupt themselves more than their fathers, producing a generation not upright, hurtful and whose spirit is not stedfast with the Father's. Everyone loves gifts, and follow after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.
