Real Politics Today?

Real politics today is truly self-serving. No one has been able to explain to me why young men and women serve in the U.S. Military for 20 years, risking their lives protecting freedom, and only get 50% of their pay. While Politicians hold their political positions in the safe confines of the capital, protected by these same men and women, and receive full pay retirement after serving one term.

Does that make any sense?

‘Poli’ in Latin means ‘many’ and ‘ticks’ means ‘blood sucking creatures’. So, politics is put up by you as many blood sucking creatures in one place?

So what would we do without Politics? Then, omg, what would we do without politics and the Bible?

I guess that is why that one man called for the Rapture today, a self-proclaimed Bible scholar or whatever? Why would he want to be the one that is called to predict the last hour of the world?

I am going to take a look at him one day to see if anything really stands out? Why did the media get involved, isn't that lending a bit of "Just In Case". I mean if the world was really ending, what should we do?

Would you put on your high heels? Would you draw your money from the bank? Would you go looting? What good does it do for any one man to know exactly when the world is going to end? Think about that, would he do some stupid shit, like run around and tell everybody? Would not God be wise enough to skip all the shit. He already knows what to do with you, so how could you do otherwise? And then?

Why not predict a good thing? Black folk, white folk and the American Indians, for which I hold the greatest respect, are having a BBQ, 4 Jul 2011? It will be held to honor our heritage, and thank God we go this far? We are the descendants of a people who tried to destroy each other?

BBQ, 4 Jul 2011, everybody is expected to bring a dish. Police are off duty, everything is out of plain old respect. No pedestals for politicians or preachers and admission is free for the day
