Suffering

What is suffering ?

I remember my mom lying there suffering. The tv was on and a Preacher was preaching about finances. Kind of left a bad taste in my mouth.

Remember while you are preaching about finances and all that other silly stuff, people are going through some serious suffering. One lady is concerned about having her legs removed. Another is suffering in the latter stages of alzhiemers. Every family is faced with these kind of decisions and sufferings and more. As we cover ours, be mindful, be respectful and above all be helpful in the decision making process. And all this suffering has a deadline. The poor, the sick and shut-ins, the less fortunate, comforting the dying and Prisons. Isn't that enough to preach about for a life time? How do we handle adversity?

Most often looked upon as something you want to hide or hide from. Without glorifying suffering, there is an extraordinary beauty that shines through deep despair and struggles.

The idea is to help relieve suffering. Are you not beautiful? If not, then discover that beauty inside every instance.

We are fallen. We are imperfect. Our bodies give out. We are afflicted in every way. Do not look around, for it is in me. Despite this and prepare for a new life, knowing that surpassing greatness of power comes not from ourselves.

Join and share that beauty so it radiates to others. Then we all can realize the hidden treasures of darkness and riches stored in secret places.

Suffering? Light shines out of darkness. Suffering is that tool that keeps us all meek and humble.

And there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. I consider the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed.

That's my challenge to you?
