Takers, Users, Abusers and Ignorance
The thought that counts.
Their excuse is always I did not know? I didn’t mean it? Ignorance? I have heard their is a sucker bone every second.
Here is a good example. You meet someone. After a while they confide in you, that they are going through some trials and tribulations. So are we all! That they are about to lose everything. Their disabled son and daughter in college are about to be kicked out of their home, of 30 years. They make it known that they are desperately in need of all the help they can get.
In the midst of your trials and tribulations, you offer to help them. What you do for them gives them hope and could result in saving their home.
You ask them to meet you half way, but they can’t. You tell them that you are going to be in their neighborhood and instead of being warm and friendly, they act shocked and mention how things are out of order. May be even a bit hesitant about you finding where they live? You know, they don’t even offer you a glass of water. They are not humble enought to offer any assistance to you.
Sometimes, it helps to write things down to get a better understanding. Now, you know why they are in the shape they are in.
It is the thought that counts.
