Parents

Parents, where does success and failure begin?

For the sake/success of parenthood, parents must stick together. Parents who split cause children to lose hope for their marriage. Is it a vicous cycle or can I skip, slip by?

Let me see how many girl and boyfriends.....ds, no, they don't count. What about encounters of the third kind? No, they don't count. Accicents? No, they don't count. Then, what counts? The times you were caught.

What you don't know can't hurt? But it hurts like hell when you do know. When you discover you are being used, just made a fool of, what do you do?

What happens when you discover your child has done something terribly wrong? Will it do any good to get angry?

There are a lot of people who do not mind taking you to the cleaners - attorneys.

I guess it starts out early on...tramatic experiences: I can only imagine being a witness to your son or daughter being accused of muder? I witnessed a fellow classmate who in grammar school, witnessed his mom being shot dead while laying in bed beside him? What about a parent attempting to murder their family members and commit suicide? In this case, the only person who died was the one who committed suicide.

A spouse or friend assaulting each other until death do them part. Teenagers (6 each), involved in a fatal accident and only one survived.

Those who just all of a sudden blow a fuse, you know we do have quite a few cases of domestic violence and abuse.

One more...Parents who murder their partners, just think what their children must feel?

Who's to blame? Well, we blame God for everything else? Could it have been prevented, HOW?

Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not your's but you.

Children ought not lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children... Parents are responsible, not the children. Appealing to your heart, to work their scam.

Every person is somebody's son or daughter. We have more financial freedom, technology than any other time. May sound crazy but how much do we spend on "Predicting the weather"? Are we more interested in the weather?

To avoid many of these pitfalls, we encourage good communications skills with our children, don't we?

Why not communicate with others?

Here is another foolish thought: We have Martin Luther King Day and a host of others, why not a "we will not commit a crime TODAY"? Call it Holy Day, isn't that a good excuse to discourage crime while encouraging communications? Keep the dream alive?

How many lives would we save? Talking about saving souls, if we don't do common sense simple everyday things to save lives, how can we save souls.

Parents,

Kids want to have what their parents did not have and strive to prevent the things that went wrong in the marriage of the parents.

How do they learn to do that? From what they learn on their own.

Bless the child who has his own.

"Let parents then bequeath to their children not riches but the spirit of reverence." -- Plato
