Word-Of-Mouth (WOM) is how we've grown since DAY 1 and is the online equivalent of Viral marketing. It's how we'll grow through the next stage of our growth, which is why I'm writing this article...to effectively compete on the World Wide Web.

WOM is the greatest and most reliable form of communication (marketing and advertising). We are small and are driven 100% by word-of-mouth.

Why do I love it? Because we attract people just like us.

What do I mean by that? You are not here accident. No, you were referred by somebody or something. So continue by passing it on.

As long as you are on the web, especially with SBIers, you will see individuals who...

  1. Talented. Understand if you own your own Business or any parts thereof, you own your own world.

    A large percentage of people miss this point. When you own a business Traffic is the life-line. When it comes to websites SBI comes with its’ own PREsold traffic to help build traffic to your site. They understand this concept, Do you?

  2. Ready To Do What It Takes. Do not be afraid to do the work necessary to build a SERIOUS business that generates long-term success. Advertising and Marketing is the life blood to TRAFFIC.

  3. Optimistic. Forward-thinkers are determined to succeed and contributes generously to that end! Their spirit inspires and collective wisdom amazes.

    It is YOU who help make websites/businesses a true success and a business community unique.

    "No big deal," you may say? It is a very big, and rare, deal. This is The Miracle....play or pay.

    -- It's so obvious. But common sense is, in fact, rare. So is the will to invest in the future through work.

    No one wants to admit that they fall for Get Rich Quick (GRQ) schemes. Everyone wants to believe GRQ is possible. Heck, we all want to believe in Santa Claus. We all outgrew the latter belief, but so many people still fall for good copy/hype that sells.

    Why? Because they want to believe.

    Now for a purely personal statement...I don't have time for them. I don't want to attract these people. I don't want to be part of their disappointment...

    I don't want to be the one who tells them there is no Santa Claus. It's too late for that (for me).

    Advertising cost “Big Bucks” and demands a considerable amount of time and attention. These costs are passed to You through price.

    -- Lazy people expect a SERIOUS business can be built quick-and-easy "my site is on the Internet." Where is the traffic or strategy to get warm and friendly visitors?

    That's why we need word-of-mouth to grow.

    Yes, We Are Growing and we are now at that in-between size. This is the stage where eBay "went vertical" (read "The Perfect Store" by Adam Cohen, ISBN 0316164933) through big-time marketing and management. But they lost the magic along the way.

    There's a reason these things happen when you reach a certain size.

    You must grow even faster before you are copied by a much bigger company. Once copied by a major, your days, one way or another, are numbered if you have not built yourself up to the size you need to be - self-sustaining.

    If I think about it then... it will be too late.

    The challenge is to grow as quickly as possible without losing the magic.

    The only way to grow ever-faster without increasing price or going broke, is word-of-mouth.
